This class will introduce you to the world of composites, composition, color theory, artistic styles, and what it takes to complete the creation. Students will receive a handout covering the topics and techniques Richard will discuss in class.
We will discuss:
Lighting: From simple to complex, different lighting styles to help create the mood of the art to be created.
How to choose backgrounds that work with this style
Capture: how prepare the image for a composite, retouching, artistic preparation
How to sell this concept to increase your sales
We will demonstrate 2 LP composites from start to finish, One simple and the other complex
Photoshop Tools you will need to know how to use
Setting up a composite file with layers and layer folder keep it organized!
Learn how to paint with layer mask in photoshop
Learn how to use textures, Blending modes and filters to make your work unique
Plugins and non photoshop products that could benefit you
